Talulah

Talulah is the name given to Thunder’s sister by the Cherokee Indians. A young warrior fell in love with her at a dance. She led him to a cave under the falls where her brother’s consent might be obtained. Upon seeing great snakes and the way in which Talulah hung her hair to dry, he became frightened and angered Thunder with his distaste for differences and lack of understanding. This piece is named for those who can adapt to new settings and situations.
